-I’m a Wisconsinite who took his goofy English and taught it in Siberia prior to Covid. Which means somewhere in Russia my students are saying “you betcha!”

-I studied Irish/“Gaelic” in college. My favorite word is “cnámharlach”, because it’s the word for skeleton and it sounds like it. 

-I was a bike mechanic for 10 years and suspect a not-insignificant amount of hydro fluid got into my coffee. 

-I have a habit of creating my own slang in casual conversation to the point that you’d be forgiven for suspecting I’m just three Cockney Bohemians in a trench coat.

-I like playing jazz guitar and processing my own film photography at home, but never at the same time.
